Our first series of oil painted book covers! Inspired by the free-flowing nature of abstract art, these all started as a single oil painting on lauan plywood. The painting was then divided into eight pieces to create four sets of covers with themes of the four seasons. Each journal is sealed with four layers of gamvar satin, bound with black faux leather and contains fifty pages of white medium-weight sketch paper.
